We decided to transform our backyard from a long stretch of difficult-to-manage lawn to a beautiful Japanese garden. We were fortunate to have Dave and Curt from Cougar Mountain Landscaping involved in this project. They were very professional and experienced. I was blown away by their sense of design, making sure the garden will look as close to nature as possible. Not only did they build a gorgeous water feature for us, they eliminated the problems we had with water drainage in the yard. Even after the project was completed, they provided excellent follow-up care. They stand behind their work with great honesty. We just had a complete backyard makeover by Curt, Dave and the Cougar Mountain team. We contracted with Cougar Mountain Landscaping of Boise a few years ago to design and construct a patio, retaining walls and gas fire pit for our hilltop home north of Eagle, Idaho. Cougar Mountain came up with an innovative and creative solution to maximize the attributes of our site, ending up with a beautiful and functional project that more than met our expectations. We were particularly impressed with their ability to visualize the end product, blending a variety of different types of pavers, wall blocks and large basalt boulders cut to fit the conditions. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality outdoor living area.
